Mountain Lions
Mountain Lions are members of the cat family and are the second strongest cat animal. They live on mountains near San Diego which is in the USA.
Mountain Lions are often mistaken for tigers and many similar features. They have a pale patch above each eye. They have tan skin and no spots, they also have light fur on their belly. They have rounded ears on their head, a long tail with a black tip on the end, long sensory whiskers off their cheeks.
Mountain Lions are carnivores. They enjoy eating deer, impala, buffalo and zebra. They catch there prey by the neck so it stops the prey breathing.
Females give birth of up to 1 - 5 offspring in a lifetime. Their lifecycle is pup, juvenile than adult.
Mountain Lions are extremely fierce. They are acute animal.
