Giraffes
Giraffes are the tallest ruminate in the world.They inhabit open grasslands and scrub in Africa.
Giraffes have brown spots with yellow fur around them.They have a short mane,tail and a horse like snout with a long black tongue.Giraffes have pointy ears,strong hooves and powerful legs.They can run up to 50km per hour.
Giraffes are herbivores that are specialists at eating leaves from the top of the trees due to their long necks.They also eat thorns and tree bark if needed.
Female Giraffes give birth to one Calf at a period time that they rear by themselves.Once they are fully grown they would be called a Cow or a Bull.Giraffes normally form large groups but sometimes males wander off.
Giraffes are the tallest which walks the earth. They will always inhabit grasslands in Africa.
