In the holidays, I went to motorcross at the Ruakaka Sand track. When all the motorbikes started it sounded like thunder. After our second race me and Mitchell rode our bikes around in a circle flicking sand behind us. When we had finished all our races we went home.

The Biggest Snake In History
The Titanoboa is a member of the snake family and is known of the biggest snake ever. They inhabit in waters over Africa.
The Titanoboas have a long black tongue, green eyes and green and black scales.The Titanoboa was 13 meters long and weighed around 1100 kilograms. It would have been as long as a average bus.
Titanoboas are carnivores and can eat mostly anything. It can eat a cow hole and eat you next for dessert. But don't worry the Titanoboa lived about sixty billion years ago.
Since the Titanoboa was around sixty billion years ago scientists don't know their life cycle, it is a similar life cycle to the Anaconda. The Anaconda lays eggs to reproduce, it usually lays eggs up to 20 to 40 eggs at a time and eats about 10 to 15 of its after the eggs are laid.
The Titanoboa is the biggest snake that slithered across Africa or any part of the world. If the Titanoboa was alive today you will be dead.

Giraffes
Giraffes are the tallest ruminate in the world.They inhabit open grasslands and scrub in Africa.
Giraffes have brown spots with yellow fur around them.They have a short mane,tail and a horse like snout with a long black tongue.Giraffes have pointy ears,strong hooves  and powerful legs.They can run up to 50km per hour.
Giraffes are herbivores that are specialists at eating leaves from the top of the trees due to their  long necks.They also eat thorns and tree bark if needed.
Female Giraffes give birth to one Calf at a period time that they rear by themselves.Once they are fully grown they would be called a Cow or a Bull.Giraffes normally form large groups but sometimes males wander off.
Giraffes are the tallest which walks the earth. They will always inhabit grasslands in Africa.

Gorillas
Gorillas are members of the greater apes , and inhabit africa and the democratic republic of congo.
Gorillas have black rimmed brown eyes.Their fur is blackish brown except for adult males who have grey backs hence the name silver backs.The head  of a gorilla have extended jaws that point out of its skull.Adult gorillas weigh around 135-180kgs and females weigh between 68-180 kgs.
Gorillas are mainly herbivores and eat fruit,leaves ,sticks and in one subspecies - the western variety a small amount of termites and caterpillars.
Baby’s live with their mothers  until they are six years old however  as the baby's get older they spend  less and less time with their mothers. Gorillas can live to up to 40 years on average.
There are three different types main species of gorilla - there is the mountain gorilla which live in forests in central africa's mountains. also there is the western  gorilla that lives in swampy jungles in west central africa. The last species is the eastern gorilla which lives in similar terrain to the western species but in east central africa instead.
Gorillas walk mainly on their legs and knuckles but they can walk upright
for short distances only.
Gorillas are a clever ,interesting species that help to prove the theory of evolution.however these amazing creatures are sadly dying out

Mountain Lions are members of the cat family and are the second strongest cat animal. They live on mountains near San Diego which is in the USA.
Mountain Lions are often mistaken for tigers and many similar features. They have a pale patch above each eye. They have tan skin and no spots, they also have light fur on their belly. They have rounded ears on their head, a long tail with a black tip on the end, long sensory whiskers off their cheeks.
Mountain Lions are carnivores. They enjoy eating deer, impala, buffalo and zebra. They catch there prey by the neck so it stops the prey breathing.
Females give birth of up to 1 - 5 offspring in a lifetime. Their lifecycle is pup, juvenile than adult.
Mountain Lions are extremely fierce. They are acute animal.

Female Lions give birth of up to 1-5 offsprings in a lifetime.
Mountain Lions are extremely fierce cats.They are cute animals but sometimes can be  dangerous.
